COBRA LAMP

Throughout nature there are many animals with fascinating features that trigger ones imagination such as this light inspired by the cobra snake species.Staying on a farm you find nature all around you that really isn't taken notice of especially if you are surrounded by nature on a regular basis. Since growing up on the farm the cobra was one of the most feared and dangerous animals that lurcked throughout our property and i have always be frightened of this animal especially since it has a venomous bite. Upon closer inspection and dangerous encounters with this animal i have picked up some beautiful features of this amazing, yet dangerous animal. The features i find remarkable are those of the colour of the snake once it has shed its skin, the abundance of beautiful multiple colours that reflect off the skin from the sun and the beautiful flowing form of the snake when it hoods up ready to strike or when it slithers away from danger.These were the two main features i looked at for inspiration when designing the cobra light.
